Revised Kindergarten Development Check
The Kindergarten Development Check (KDC) is designed to assist teachers in the
early identification of any Kindergarten student who is at risk of not achieving
expected developmental outcomes and may require a specific intervention program and/or support from specific support personnel.
A set of 21 identified critical core markers determines whether a student is deemed at risk of not achieving expected
developmental outcomes.
