Assessment of writing descriptions of wayang kulit characters
Rubric for assessment of writing a description of a wayang kulit
character

Rubrics are used to make explicit to students what
they need to do to achieve success on a task. For this reason, it is
important to share the rubric with students before they begin a task,
and also to take time to go through the rubric to make sure that they
understand what it means.
One very useful strategy for 'unpacking' a rubric is
to give students some 'fake' work samples (perhaps pretending that they
are from another school) that you have created, and ask them to work in
groups to assess it using the rubric. They then must justify their
decisions.
