Reflection and feedback

Reflection and feedback during this learning sequence should be based around the understanding goals and Indonesian skill-building goals.

Understanding goals Expressed as a statement of understanding and focus questions for students to consider.

  1. Students will understand that ‘Culture’ is made up of the beliefs, rituals and practices of a particular community.
    What is culture?

  2. Students will understand how identity is open to change and is shaped by heredity and social and cultural experiences.
What kind of person am I? What is my personal identity? How are identities shaped and changed over time?

  3. Students will understand, recognise and respect uniqueness, diversity and distinctiveness in themselves and others.
What helps us recognise and respect uniqueness in ourselves and others?

See the Assessment section for assessment of student's reflections on focus questions.
