| This learning object is designed as
a tool that could be used at any time when teachers are introducing
or reinforcing use of verbs and simple sentences.
While these teaching notes provide ideas for some
ways of using the learning object with students, there will always
be other possibilities. Read through the learning sequence from
Awareness raising to Reflection and feedback, and check the
Extension activities to give an overview of the range of suggested
learning experiences.
Always make sure that you are familiar with a
learning object yourself before introducing it to your students.
The Teaching
Notes are organised into
four sections:
- Awareness raising -
Introductory or Pre-teaching activities
- Making connections - Building
connections between new and prior knowledge, and between
Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Inggris
- Production - Using the
learning object
- Reflection and feedback
Production and reflection are not
sequential, but instead are cyclical. For each learning activity,
there will be one or more periods of reflection and feedback to
inform the language program for both student and teacher.
