Pantomim
After having used this learning object, students
should be very familiar with many MeN-verbs. Pantomime or charades games
can be played as an enjoyable way of reinforcing this language.
Divide the class into teams. Each team takes it in
turn to send a student to the front of the class. The student selects a
verb card (in Word or
PDF) from the pile and must
then mime that action. The rest of the class compete to be the first
hand up to give the correct verb in Indonesian and English. If correct,
their team scores a point.
You may choose to add some extra (but simple) verbs
that you expect students to know. These may not be MeN-verbs and
therefore do not appear in Kata-kata dasar. For example, makan,
minum, berlari.
