Sketsa watak - Character sketch
Explain to students that even though there is only a
relatively small amount of text about Ali, Nyoman and Lastri, they will know or be
able to infer quite a lot about them.
Have students work in pairs to construct a 'character
sketch' (sketsa watak) (in Word or
PDF) for one of those
characters. Students can use the script for that character for support,
or refer to the learning object and the worksheets they have done
previously. They will also need dictionaries to help with the kata-kata sifat.

Students can share and compare their choices, and
discuss any differences. They should be able to give
reasons for their choices in Indonesian.
Students could also fill in a 'sketsa watak' for themselves
or a celebrity character.
