Teaching notes

These teaching notes offer suggestions about possible ways of introducing and using the learning object in the language program.

They are organised into four sections:
  • Awareness raising - Introductory or Pre-teaching activities

  • Making connections -  Building connections between new and prior knowledge, and between Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Inggris

  • Production - Using the learning object

  • Reflection and feedback

Production and reflection are not sequential, but instead are cyclical. For each learning activity, there will be one or more periods of reflection and feedback. This informs the language program for both student and teacher.
