Extension activity C - Teka-teki balok (Block puzzles)

Other logical problem-solving activities:
  • Borrow some Multi-link cubes and try some logic problems similar to those in Get It Together: Maths Problems for Groups Grades 4-12. (See Resources)

Students may need support to practise the language of attributes with these cubes or similar blocks or shapes.

  • Here are two puzzles translated for you:
    • A word list (Daftar kata-kata) to provide language support (in Word or PDF)
    • An easy puzzle (in Word or PDF) - six cards, each with a clue.
    • A more difficult puzzle (in Word or PDF) (we had trouble in English!)
    • The correct answers - to prove they are possible! (in Word or PDF)

  • Students may like to invent other games in Indonesian, translate others from Get It Together: Maths Problems for Groups Grades 4-12; or invent other logic games of their own based on simple attributes.
