Revenue Collection

The information and forms provided here are for staff of the Department of Education, Tasmania when collecting payments due to the Department.

Payment Arrangements

  • Electronic Funds Transfer 

The preferred payment arrangement in regards to the payment of centrally (Accounting Operations) raised invoices, and the transfer of funding to the department, is by way of electronic funds transfer to the following account:

  • Cash/Cheque Deposits

A Collection Bank Account - Deposit Form is used by budget centres (District and Support Offices etc.) to advise Accounting Operations of monies received and deposited daily, at any Westpac bank branch. 

  • Budget centres should click on the form link above.  Print out the Deposit Form document. Fill out the details and fax  (03) 6233 7720 to:

  • These deposits are recorded and directly credited to the department's Collection Account using ‘pre-issued individual identifier’ deposit books.  
  • Funds are receipted against the revenue code nominated by budget centres on the Collections Bank Account - Deposit Form for data entry into Finance One.
