What should I be doing?

            When pool is in use:

  • Check chlorine and acidity levels daily
  • Regularly check efficient operation of plant

When not in use [winter]:

Engage a qualified contractor to check, clean and replace, (if necessary) pump seals and “o” rings annually.

If pool remains filled for long periods:

  • Run pumps for a short period fortnightly to keep pumps etc lubricated [contractor can advise].
  • Check chlorine levels periodically.

If pool drained for long periods:

Have contractor undertake check of pump seals etc and lubricate at that time.
