The Master Maintenance System provides statutory and essential maintenance services across the state, covering areas such as fire, mechanical plant and lifts.
Contractors visiting the site should observe some site protocols.  These are built into the Master Maintenance contracts and schools have every right to ensure they are complied with.
The roofing contract looks after all main building roofs excepting separate verandas, walkways and covered ways, out buildings and minor sheds and other external structures.
Maintenance of the fire detection, separation, and fire fighting equipment and systems are discussed under fire services
The department prepares site maintenance plans for each site in consultation with site representatives to assist sites in identifying priorities and fulfilling their maintenance obligations.
