Conference Themes

The 2005 CEFPI Australasia Conference – “Curriculum and Campus: Architects and Educators Working Together” – will explore the physical learning environments that support and enhance student engagement.

It will examine specific facility related issues that have the capacity to impact on and improve the quality of educational outcomes, and effectively move to a new paradigm of education.

Conference Venue

Tasmania – the natural island – offers a wide range of experiences from World Heritage Wilderness areas to friendly, welcoming people, a pleasant, temperate climate, wonderful food and wine, fascinating colonial history, and a relaxed island lifestyle.

Tasmania’s capital city, Hobart — shaped and defined by ocean, river and its majestic mountain backdrop — is an intriguing blend of heritage and lifestyle, scenery and vibrant culture

Wrest Point enjoys a commanding harbour side location on the shores of the Derwent Estuary.  Its versatility and experience as a conference venue has been fine tuned over many years of organising major national and international conferences and gala events.
