Discretionary and
Tied Allocations
Each SRP element allocates to schools funds which are either
tied or discretionary.
Tied allocation funds are made available to schools on
the basis that they are used for a specified purpose.
In contrast, discretionary
allocations may be used in line with the priorities set by the school management.
