Another huge American book selling site. This one has many sections
including a new releases section, a teachers' section and a young readers'
section that includes a place for students to e-mail reviews - a handy
facility for teachers looking for places for students to
"publish".

Corporation
Australian site with an extensive catalogue. The Curriculum Corporation
books referred to on the English site can be ordered through this site.
The
English Club
This site provides some practical curriculum materials for all aspects
of English teaching. There is also professional development and consultancy
services. It includes a wide range of publications containing ready-made
units for the classroom. Professional reference and resource material
for school workshops and discussions.
ETAWA
Resources
The English Teachers Association of Western Australia produces print and
other resources for teachers and students. Check the Publications section
as well.

Includes details of new releases, author profiles, notes for reading groups
and links to other sites. Includes Australian authors such as Duncan Ball,

Support materials and ideas in two sections. Reading Dimensions focuses
on newly released fiction at three levels and also offers email communication
relating to the titles (which are US based). Author Profiles include About
the Author, Interviews, Kidsviews and Classroom Connections. Some of the
authors are popular here, including Chris Van Allsburg, Allen Say.

This is a large Australian site with many links. It is a worthwhile
site to begin any search for literature. Pan

A growing list of Australian authors with several pages for each one.
Includes biographical information, book reviews and extracts, online stories,
email contact and links to authors personal sites if applicable.
Pages have similar look about them, but information is presented
in a variety of ways.

This is the section of the PETA site that provides access to the excellent
range of publications and other resources the association provides.

Fun activities for children including crosswords, word finds and writing
challenges that are linked to themes and support specific authors.

titles). An alphabetical list of authors and illustrators leads to short

page is worth a look and is changed regularly.

This huge American site is worth visiting! Many book titles are listed
and you can see what the cover looks like in the USA. There are
alphabetical links to thousands of authors at this address but many of
the Australian authors are missing or only partially represented.

The Victorian Association for the Teaching of English publishes and
distributes resources for teachers and students. Look in the Bookroom
